Bourbon candles can be tricky, sometimes they are way too musky and give more of a cigar or tobacco smell than a bourbon smell. However, the description of wood and vanilla is spot on. At times I feel like I'm around a campfire and then that vanilla comes in and makes it soothing and sweet. It spreads nicely throughout the room but isn't overpowering like some sweet candles that give you a headache. In love.
It's a great value, fills a medium-sized space easily, and is a really approachable, warm scent. It's sweet, but not overly so, and it has a nice undergirding of spice and wood to balance the sweetness. A perfect "leather, books, fire, and old fashioned" kind of complement.
