These are my favorite candles I have ever owned. The smell is a perfect musky, leathery scent that really is reminiscent of a leather bound book. Its not too strong and overpowering. It is literally perfect, the best I've ever found. In total, I have bought about 10 of these candles from every TJ Maxx and Home Goods local to me. I've turned to the internet, as they quit carrying them some time ago. Although I still look every time I go, I cannot find them anymore and have burned through all I had. I've looked for others but nothing compares to the Leather Bound scent. PLEASE bring these back so I can restock!

Love the aesthetics of the jar, but really has no smell. Really disappointing

Very weak smell. Disappointing.

Each of our candles are hand-poured with love, which means the candles all have a slightly unique burning process. Since you are experiencing fragrance issues, please try burning your candle 3 times for 3-4 hours. When a candle’s fragrance isn’t very strong, this usually means the wax has not melted enough to loosen the wick, which emits the fragrance. Also, make sure to keep the candle away from any vents, air circulation, or drafts. Please email our Customer Service Department for additional assistance or with any other questions! I love this scent. It’s subtle in its muskiness and it creates a warm, cozy feeling in my room. No wonder it’s out of stock. I originally bought it from TJ Maxx and now I’m hooked so I was happy to find it on their website but disappointed it’s out of stock.

Such a great candle and scent ! I have two favorite candles and this is one of them ! Very good leather smell just like you walked into a study full of leather bound books ! Great scent and throw! Very dark academia ! Love it !
